are all your engine mounts fine?

Check that your Clutch Master cylinder is not leaking fluid. If it is, top it up and have the Master and slave cylinder replaced as this problem will keep happening. You can check the levels in the engine bay and also have a look at the clutch pedal inside the car for leaking fluid.

When your clutch hydraulic cylinder is low on fluid the friction point is _VERY_ close to the floor. i.e., you only have to lift your foot off a little for it to engage.

Good luck!

If you have fluid leaking, check if it is your clutch fluid before going down the new clutch path. A new Master / slave cylinder is only about $200.

Are you able to take a picture of the leak you mentioned?

That's the line for your clutch hydraulic system. You needto loosen and retigthen , or replace it and rebleed the system. Old / wrong fluid can cause issues.

No you don't need to change your clutch, and see if you can drive your car to a mechanic for a better look at those engine mounts. My mate today had a simular problem because 2 of his mounts were broken.
