hi i was wondering would everything from a b16a2 fit directly onto a b20b if i was to purchase a b20b block with a b18c head?

like will the gearbox, intake manifold, wiring all match straight up?

i know that i will have to buy an aftermarket ecu later on.

will i need to buy anything else other than computer? i know i can upgrade bits and pieces but for now i just want to know if its possible for me to buy a b18c/b20b and drop it right in with a computer and tune.

thanks in advance

this has been covered alot over the internet. more so on honda-tech. but to help you out, yes most parts will fit the B20. what i have read and been told you can use: water/oil pump, some gaskets, radiator hoses, timing belt, cam pulleys, gear box, intake/exhaust manifold etc ....

you will find most of your answers on honda-tech. i used the search button on honda-tech and found alot of answers to many of my questions.

Pretty much everything will fit.

Headers from the B16 or B18 might have trouble, because the B20 block is longer and hangs a little lower. Might need a new set.

Are you buying a B18/B20 already assembled? You're probably better off with a B16 head on the B20 bottom.

im in the process of getting a one already assembled with the b18c head. so i dont really want to take apart my motor just yet. if i do i'll just be using the gearbox off my motor.
