importing car???

Hey guys, I have been looking around for an EF9 (sir) civic but its hard to find a nice example in OZ. So I have been thinking about how difficult it would be to import one from Japan. If anyone have any experience with this and knows if it is worth it, and what has to be done to the car once it is landed to pass ADR's etc I would be greatfull for some info. Cheers.

Not worth it if you don't know the import process already.

You need to own the car in that country for 12 months, you also need to prove that you lived there and actually used the car there in that time (living expenses/bills etc.)

Then there's another 3-6months for shipping, shipping + usual customs/duties/compliance etc. costs.
