Anyone know the dimesions of the gruppe m intake for cl9?

im using an optima yellow top battery and its larger than standard size, wondering if i will run into any clearance issues.

is the battery just thicker, do you have photos ill see if i can get dimensions for you. but as its curved what area did u need measurements from?

Here are some pics that I found. The original pics in those two threads might be dead. It looks like if the passenger and firewall side of the battery's position are the same, then it might fit. But it will depend on what battery tray are you using at the bottom with the larger battery.

those pics are good ref although that battery is the smaller unit than mine.
i dont run the stock battery plastic box anymore either.

my batt is the same size as the metal tray underneath the plastic battery tray.

if i remove the roundish plastic cover at the front of the battery i can move the battery forward about 30mm and it should clear.

Yeah, it looks like it should fit even if you don't move it because you have already placed your battery at the same distance from the airbox as the stock smaller battery. Here is a pic of the stock battery with airbox and the stock battery is also located quite close to the airbox like your larger battery. So if the Gruppe M fits with this, it should fit yours with maybe moving the battery forward just a little bit.

well the battery uses the stock clamp no probs and its in the same location (not angled forward or anything)
so im about 90% that it will fit alright. just to be sure that round cover will prob come off

Well intake arrived yesterday, fitted it after work, installation was around 45 mins

Fitted sweet with o/s battery. Very happy
