Hey guys

got a quote from rick damelian for 24 month service, charging $485 IMO quite expensive for what it is.

Engine oil/Fiter
Change pollen filter
and supposedly minor adjustment in the engine is what the service advisor said since its a major service

What were you charged for ur 24 month service and where?

Thanks

im gonna get my 24month service done next week

doing it at ISMotor Racing for around $150.. coz im providing the honda engine oil and filter for em to use... dont need the air filter replaced coz i got on a CAI (which i recently cleaned and oiled).. should replace the oem air filter with a K&N, never needs replacing

will also be replacing my brake lines and installing new brake line system there as well.. giving them the honda brake fluid to replace the old as they need to flush the brake fluid all out when replacing brake lines

try getting other quotes from like ultra-tune or midas

I bought my FD2 from Rick Damelian in Laichard as well. But now I live in Wollongong. I got quotes from both Damelian and Wgong dealerships for my 2nd service and there was like a $50-60 difference.

Best to shop around.

My 12 month is coming up soon too. Let us know how you go...

+1 for K&N air filters

Got one in my car and it's heaps better than the stock paper filter.

As everybody have said, shop around dude. You'd be expecting to pay $$$ from Honda Service no matter where it is...most of the cost is pure labour. :)
Parts are inexpensive.

ohhh, lol
I thought you were taking em to honda dealerships hence why I thought you were getting em for cheaper elsewhere, wholesale or something lol

buy fluids and parts from either dealerships or car parts store

then service the car elsewhere thats reputable and wouldnt overcharge
