hey can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the 99-00 and 96-98 front guards on the Ek civics? Coz there are some funky CF front guards I want but they are for the 99-00 and me only got a EK1

isnt Ek1 including the 99-00
Ive got a 2000 model and its still Ek1 on the plate ?????

HRRRM thats just ****ed me over even more lol ... must be the equipment level then ay?
Any one who can help ?????? I want them guards :D

it depends on what year ur car was built
96-98 and 99-00 have different front ends including the guards.
so if ur car was built before 99, then no you can't get the guards
(unless u want to do a full front end swap which is possible)

there is a difference in the headlight shape, im pretty sure this affects the guard as the guard goes around the headlight a bit...
so therefore the guards off a 99-00 civic wont fit around the 96-98 headlights
thats y they prolly advertised them as 99-00 guards

Mounting points should be the same though. its a pipe dream after all :( all you 99-00 owners get in contact with Trav at UI as he can get his hands on em apparently.

if you have a 96-98, and want those gaurds youll have to change your bonnet, headlights,front bar, radiator support... and ofcourse your guards.
i know i wanted to facelift mine...
