anyone know who owned this car?

I am looking for a clean white dc2r or a yellow one. If anybody can shed some light on the history that would be great.

Checked SEVS and its not a write off and its got an encumbrance on it. Will be checking this out on Sat so your feedback would be nice.

Thanks guys/girls.

Looks good to me, how r the seats ew? Theyre black recaro's, sexy and will look clean for longer as its black
Low kms, low price = good buy if good condition, like buying any car, get it checked out before you hand over your cash

he probably meant eww as in the bolsters look eww. previous owner did not take care getting in and out at all =/

but aside from that looks clean to me. make sure to get it checked out properly.

best of luck

There is damage above the passenger side headlights. Interior looks like its had a hard life. If the car checks out mechanically it's probably not a bad buy at around $15k. Depends how fussy you are.

anyone know any one in melb looking to sell a nice example of a dc2r that is either white or yellow?

I did consider a JDM model what it was not look after very well so never went ahead and bought it a few months back.

Proving to be a pain to get one.

this car has definitely been in an accident as drivers side has been repainted, the paint did not even match the car! Repair on front bumper was so obvious as it was a crappy repair job and plus the paint on the bonnet was even pealing. I did not even test drive the car nor look a the the engine bay. Car did not look like it was loved much at all.

I am staying away from this example. If any of you can point me in the direction of a nice DCR2 or DCR5 under 20 K I would be interested.

Thanks for your support.

Good luck finding a DC5R that it's a clean condition for that value...
Your dreaming.

Like I said before, depends how fussy you are and the seller selling the car. Obviously your smart enough to spot a dud. Now just find yourself a clean example..

Someone might sell you a tidy DC2R for $19,999.00

I can find plenty of DC5's around for under 19-21K but I am still leaning towards a DC2R due to the fact that its a much better "drivers" car in my opinion.

look if I cannot come across a nice example I will be forced to look at DC5's.

My journey continues.

DC5's or DC5R?

I've looked on carsales and there isn't much there thats good value for money at 21-19k IMO
