Ill keep this short.

Well my morning started at 5am. Had to pick the car up from Dr Honda's place. He's been working on it for a while now, installing new radiator, defi gauges, oil cooler and more. Thanks Phil you busted your ass again.

My first day ever at Wakefield so i thought ill grab The man John Boston along to give me some private tuition. I wasnt gonna go through all that effort and drive all the way down there for nothing. Was he worth the money??? well i can say no one can do a 108 lap time by themselves on there first day. So yes he was worth it. I did a 108.6. Anyone wanting to improve there driving instantly and i mean instantly then dont hesitate to get a few boys together and give this man a call. What you learn with him in one day you'll learn in a year by yourself.

Your probaly what he did...he did a 106.

The track conditions were quite average, it was hot! handling felt a bit sluggish understeering and oversteering. Towards the afternoon when it was a bit cooler thats when we started doing some faster laps but it was too late to do a PB as they were closing. I never really noticed it that much at Eastern ck but there was so much chassis flexing going on. Time for a roll cage and a front strut bar. But overall im pleased with the result and there's alot more in it. Time to go back and make some more developments.

A special thank you to:

Dr Honda: For your help and countless hours developing this entire car.

Yonas ( JDMYARD ): For the sponsoring me the Voltex Wing for the day and Koyo Full size radiator.

John Boston: For your driver training.

Westside Mufflers: Fabrication work.

Greenbox Karaoke: for your all your media work.lol

T.A.G Pest Management Pty Ltd: For the funds to develop this car in the future.

Lastly here is me on my 108.6 lap. Recorded with my GOPRO HD. Too bad nelson didnt know how to convert the file to 1080p for youtube. But thanks nelson for your help always. ENJOY

And Congrats to Nelson ( moo moo nel ) For bettering his PB by more than 1sec yesterday doing a smashing 109.5 in a stock K20a DC2 Built by Dr Honda. Just goes to show Dr HONDA knows his K series. Well done nelson you truly deserve it. Get fresh tyres and you'll do a 108. ( im scared now)

And what did he do differently i asked him? And he replies " John told me to use my brakes" hahaha.

Well done again.

Sure does. John did a 106 in it. I need chassis to be stiffer! atm the moment theres no chassis strengthening if you think about. just a rear strut bar. lol car feels like a boat. cant really notice it at eastern ck but definately at WP

Yep, EG chassis flexes like a bitch!!!
Rollcage will transform the car and help turn the understeer into oversteer hehe

It was great to spend the day helping Andrew, Nelson and Harris in his S2000 :)

Andrew forgot to mention that these times were done on old tyres, so a 1.05 would have been done with better rubber. The cage will transform this car and make it much easier to drive.

Nelson's Integra is a very good car, much easier to drive than the civic because of the extra wheelbase.

Look forward to doing it all again soon :)

Hey Nelson, how much did you guys pay to get John for the whole day? I'm quite keen to let him have a drive on mine. Are you guys gonna ask him to wakefield park again? If so, let me know yeah. :)

Thanks.

It is worth the money. If you have some sort of idea on how to drive then you will be okay.

Great time first time out. 10 seconds faster than my first time lol! You do have more than double the power at the wheels in a lighter car however :D

That is exactly what I need to learn. Thanks for the info though. I guess this year will be an interesting year for superlap, supersprint and etc
