Hi guys,

I just put a deposit on a DC5R that I need to get checked out. Can anyone recommend one located in Melbourne?

Also this car has the usual Recaro damage. A recommended place to get this fixed is also appreciated.

there is nowhere that will fix the recaros. believe me. i'm talking a propper fix with alacantra not some shitty leather fix.
your cheapest option is to sell them for a very small amount and buy second hand ones from j-imports or seekers.

It depends what's wrong with the Recaro. If the bolster is worn, that can be replaced fairly cheap. Anything else and you'll probably have to retrim it, which as said above isn't really worth it. I would say take your car to Ward While in Box Hill if you want it checked out.

The Recaro's trim is fine, but the bolster is badly damaged. I saw some links on how to repair it. I am not really a DIY guy, so I'll leave it to the experts..
