srs light

hey guys my srs light turned on ad stayed on even when im driving. my mechanics says that i need to bring it to Honda to get the computer reseted. is there anyway that i can do it myself or do i have to actually bring it to Honda?

somebody will correct me if im wrong but to reset ur car u have to pull out ur ecu and ecu backup fuse for a few minutes and plug it back in.

or go to a workshop and get it fixed for 50buks, all they do is hook ur ecu to a gadget then they restart it.
