cd5/6 owners in melb?

hey guys, just seeing how many owners in melb, because im thinking of buying one, going to look at one on tuesday which has a h22a in it. only other owner i know who has a nice one is my gf's cousin's car (aka fkjaccord) who has a turbo accord.

so if i do buy one, it would be nice to meet some owners and talk about mods and where to buy parts.

yeah i got a cd5 accord exi... just got a new engine vtec engine the car... great car... you may get a few problems with the lights coming on in the cluster! recommended injen CAI!!

there are plenty on ebay USA however the AUD dollar has gone down quite a bit or you can DIY them

I had a 94 vti with some parts bought of fkj ;) I also did a f22b1 Greddy turbo conversion on it. Now my other car is a 97 vti with simple n/a mods for the missus...I/h/e

I say hell yes! to a meet,
as for my headlights, i used to have genuine Black Stanley ones but hit a kangaroo and goodbye passenger side.
so i just painted the background in the audm lights, not quite as good but does the job for now. only difference is the lense has focal lines

bad luck man where the hell did you run into a kangaroo im pretty sure you can find the passenger side only? But isnt the cut off for jdms opposite to what they are suppose to be for us? I painted the stock lights but it has all these grooves on the cover that suppose to diffuse the light so you cant see as clearly i was hoping to smooth it out or find other covers for them.

andrew - 28th and 29th not too late for me, plus i wont be working for sure. 14th july is also good aslong as its not a fri or sat then chances im working is close to zero.

adcpat - rails will not fit, you either need rails for cd5 or custom made ones, or if you not scared you can get it welded, but if it breaks while driving then thats that. thats the thing with aftermarket seats, its hard for us accordians, just get new genuine bride rails and seats, which i should be getting next.

i believe its more simular to the civic rails - still needs to be modified...

i didn't notice how old this thread was nam lol..... i just got jdm lights today picked the up for 220 at wreckers and got m visors in picking up HID's today so i hope to get everything in b4 monday night
