Fuel Low light. How low b4 it turns on?

I just want to know if anybody knows at what point the low fuel light turns on for a EK1 CX Civic. I ran it till it was well in the red and still no light turned on.

also generally you have 50Km till its dead empty, fill up asap.

Thanks guys. It look 38L to fill, and going by it having a 45L tank, I had a few more kms before it would have come on. Spewing, I want to see it come on. I try harder next time. Thanks again for the info.

Your fuel light is like my one..... Even though my car is different, My fuel light goes on when the needle is pass E. Like literally pass E when the needle isnt covering the "RED" E anymore.
