Hi All,

Just thought i'd drop a line and say hi to the club. Abit about myself, i work for a major car dealer in melbourne and as such i have access to aftermarket parts (like what you'd find in autobarn etc..) genuine parts for Nissan, Ford, VW & Peugeot.

Now on to my Civic (picking up on Feb 15th) buying from my brother in law and this is what i know so far.

1995 EG5 Honda Civic Vti (White)

Mods(that i know of):

- Extractors with full exhaust system to a cannon
- Lowered
- 16" Black 5 Spoke rims with dish
- Air freshener :P

This will be my daily for along time so no major Mods planned most will be for handling and looks

But there are some problems and maybe you guys can help me

Problems:

- Rust just near rear spoiler (not major but still)
- LH, RH, Bumper & Bonnet need respray due to being keyed
- Hatch Struts need replacing
- Sometimes tricky to get into Reverse and 1st gear (syncros? or linkages any ideas?)

if this is in the wrong area please move

thanks

Welcome, sounds like a nice car

As for the gearbox, if its hard to get into 1st and reverse most likely its the synchro's

You just need to buy and install new synchro's for the gears that are giving you trouble I think, think it would be around the 200 dollar mark installed perhaps at a mechanics? shop around
