ahhh!! Airbag help - Civic EK1

Hey,

we have recently aquired a 2000 CXI Civic with front damage and the airbag deployed

Can somebody please tell me -

1: wut parts needs to be replaced (appart from the airbag itself) after the airbag has been deployed for a 2000 Model CXI Civic
2: where is the location of the sensor that detects tge collision before deploying the airbag. I had a look at a an exact same model civic but couldn't locate that sensor

u will need a whole new steering wheel with airbag inside.

Try a 2nd hand one from a wreckers, If you're in SYD Mcchook can hook u up

And you need the sensor thingie.

Should cost aroud the 1k mark all up if you source parts out urself

Then u need someone to install it.

**** i hate airbags bloody POS !!!!

OH BTW, you may need to get it engineered. :(

if possibe only get the airbag part of the steering wheel - its cheaper. try ebay i bout a steering wheel and airbah for 120

[ECU-MAN]

you need to replace the airbag assy, this includes the airbag itself and the ecu which houses the g sensor. its 1 compleate unit ( thats whya it is so expensive )
