there reply " that looks like a solvent dammage, somthning like car wash " hmmm so anyway aprently its my fault for washing my car.. i have only used the 1 car wash in my life have on both my cars and all my mates... never had that problem before..

Yep that's exactly where mine is doing it and also around the window seals where the side windows meet the door I wad also told that it's never
happened before and the guy was quite rude to me in saying so.

I'm going to take it further, also to another dealer

imo dont think honda will do shit about it lol

i guess you just keep up the maintenance with those "back to black" products when cleaning the car, been meaning to do that to my car but soo much effort and cbf kicks in

well i guess is naturally happened due to direct sunlight, just use trim conditioner from mcguire or other dash cleaner and it will back to shine

Just use armor all or black chrome that will fix it

I just put armor all on mine - makes a world of difference, but i think it'll wash off - lol.

As long as you put it on regularly, it should help..

I use 303 protectant. Apply everytime you wash and eventually it will slowly turn back to a darker colour. Helps if you use it from new because the protectant has UV blockers in it which slows down the fading. On my 2 cars, the one with 303 applied since new in 2004 still has black trim, while the gf's car which only received protectant once every year has gray/light gray trim!
