DC5R brakes?

Hey after much fail of bendix brakepads it got me thinking..

first he gave me what he found by the book which was bendix brakes for dc5r.. FAIL

then he gave me base model integra dc5 FAIL

then i traced the pad and showed him and he gave me sumfing FAIL

after being pissed off i went down and i went thru his book and go hmm maybe its s2000 pads...surprise surprise it was..


IS THIS NORMAL? should my dc5r take s2000 pads does it mean its got s2000 calipers or na

i always thought the audm dc5r shared the same calipers as the s2k...

i didnt know that..then how come dc5r pads didnt fit l0l

our dc5r have the same brakes as the s2k unlike the brembos in the jdm dc5r

then why does mine always lock up..imagine a s2k that thing flys and it trying to stop with my brakes? hmm fail but good to know that i didnt no...what about strut bars l0l im geting some from america hope it handles better...mods can close thread thanx

If your locking your wheels when you brake, it means you need better tyres.

if your locking your brakes on a car with ABS you got much bigger problems than tyres...

i remembered when i had my ferodos put in the rears, it was hell getting the right pads, it ended up being the same as a DC5, not sure if its the base, or the R

If your locking your wheels when you brake, it means you need better tyres.

His ABS unit is playing up...
If the ABS light is showing on your dash while driving... AVOID braking hard or unescessarily as this light means your ABS is malfunctioning... Get it to a Mechanic or Honda dealership and get it checked out as something could be seriously wrong.

nah abs light never came up and i am a mechanic l0l..i only have advans on the front and shity tyres on the back..

i also had a dc2 vtir with abs but in my accident it locked up..but i never tryd turning the wheel i just slamed the brakes

Base DC5 is different to AUDM DC5R which is also different to JDM DC5R!

AUDM DC5R, S2000 and EP3 all use the same front and rear pads!
