hey guys

been searching around and cant find a suspension option for my EG sedan

i dont really want to drop too much, only about 1" or 1.5"

i would like them to be a little bit stiffer than stock ... im also looking to get some struts as well (looking at koni red)

i can get skunk2 for a good price but they drop the car 2.5" which is too low for me

can anyone suggest anything?

king springs drop around 1.5"
my car has a 2 finger gap front/rear on stock 16" wheels...

eibach drops like 1.3" but costs a few hundred more i think.

i heard spoon springs should drop about 20mm from stock(then again it might be the the drop for ek9's so your milage may vary)

otherwise eibach prokit's are okay at an apparent 1.3" as said above

45mm is just under 2"(50.8) if you are looking for a 1.5" (38.1mm) drop

Might be a bit hard to get but I believe H&R OE do 1" drop. The Sport does ~1.5 and Race ~2.25... from memory.

GREAT spring - german made, rivals Eibach.

white line discontinued there spring line so might not be able to get them unless they have left over stock

damn ... im thinking now that i might just get skunk2 for the good price and see how they go ... can always change if its too low

isn't it more cost effective to just wait until you can get the right spring?

IMO

get ITR DC2R front and rear springs or spring/shocks. That will drop a tiny bit ( around 1 inch ) and firm up teh ride somewhat.

now thats a good idea ... will start hunting for some now

besides rear LCA what else will i need to fit them?

look at the thread by dinorider. From stock VTiR to Type R, Front dropped 1", rear stayed the same.
