thanks for the tip yfin, i've slowly started to notice it in my own car. Even when i'm not playing it loud, on setting 10 like normal, i do notice a bit of buzzing from the side, sometimes closer to the sunroof or in that general direction :s other times, it's fine even when it's louder.

It can be hard to isolate buzzing. I put up with it for a while to suddenly discover it was my sunglasses in the ceiling compartment!

I started to hear buzzing from my passenger door last night :( It went away after a lil prod of the door, hopefully it will be ok. I usually have my volume on 15, I cant wait to get my audio system properly installed. But i suppose im to expect buzzing with subs :|
Thanks for the info yfin.

I have this exact problem with my driver's side door.
It's driving i me nuts!
It first happened only when I played songs with heavy bass, but I found it to be buzzing continuously today.
I can't be bothered to take it to the dealer just because of this, so I'll put up with it until my 10,000km service is due.

Thanks yfin. This problem has been annoying me ever since I have upgraded the sound system. However, I have noticed that it only occurs with certain bass frequency, not neccessarily the lowest frequencies.
Do you think Honda Australia will look after us?

The height-adjustment bit of the drivers safety belt buzzes when the car first starts driving. After a few taps on the thing, it quietens down. On a different note, my clutch creak is slowly coming back.

I am taking my car in next week for this - took it to the dealer and showed them the noise, which they admit does exist and shouldn't. They are putting some extra 'padding' in the doors. I took the document from Acura (PDF posted above) which they said was not the problem and the TSX is a totally different car - but then asked to keep a copy of it anyway

Which dealer in which state are you going to? Do you have an aftermarket system installed? Thanks.

TSX is a totally different car? When you pick up the car please ask them what the differences are.

You will find this media release. So the TSX (Accord Euro) are the same car when it suits Honda?
Acura RL, TSX named in 2005 Car and Driver "10Best Cars" list
American Honda’s new Acura RL (Legend) luxury performance sedan and the TSX (Accord Euro) sports sedan have been named in Car and Driver magazine's prestigious annual list of "10Best Cars."

The US magazine named the Acura RL "Best Luxury Sedan" while the TSX, a winner for the second year in a row, captured the "Best Sports Sedan" designation.
The "10Best Cars" list was compiled by a panel of 15 journalists who spent a week evaluating each entry on the basis of value, features and performance. Overall, 44 vehicles in 10 categories were nominated.
"It is always an honor to be named to the 10Best list," said Tom Elliott, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "For the RL to be recognized in the highly competitive luxury sedan category means Acura has hit its mark in terms of performance, world-class safety and leading-edge technology."
This is the first year that the RL has been named to the "10Best Cars" list. The car was completely redesigned and reengineered for 2005 with a 300 horsepower engine, Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, and the first North American application of a real time traffic system.

"...there's no doubt," said Car and Driver of the RL, "the new flagship is ready for the major leagues."
The TSX has earned "10Best" honors in each of the two years it has been on sale.
"Back for its second 10Best term," said the magazine, "the TSX is a symphony of painstakingly perfected details that add up to feline agility enhanced by a bevy of luxury features that come standard."

Hi all,
Problem has been fixed! No more buzz emanating from the doors, very happy indeed.....
And yes, it does appear that the TSX and the Euro are pretty much the same car - When it suits Honda/Acura of course......
Hey all,
I've had this problem for a couple of months and I'm still waiting to here back from the dealer. I brought in the TSB that I found on the web... I was searching for hours on it to see if anything was out there on it and I finally found it on a TSX website. I showed the dealer and the service manager said... the TSX is the Honda Legend.. I'm like I do not think so! Anyway he was waiting to here from a technical expert from Honda Australia to get back to him but I havent pushed him about it in the last couple of weeks because of Xmas coming up and have been busy etc. What I'd really like to do however is find a song which clearly shows the resonance effect. Anyone know a song in particular so I could go in and show him. I also find it buzzes alot on AM when a deep resonanting person is speaking!
They also have to fix the problem I have where my AM is really soft - does anyone else have this problem. I have to put it up to at least 22 on a smooth freeway to hear anything. And also when the treble is up around 3 or 4 there is a high pitched noise which eminates from the radio.
I've done about 12000kms so far.
Merry Christmas and Happy new Year everyone!

I have had actually had my whole radio unit replaced for the strange noise on AM and some songs as well - I had both a problem it turns out with the radio AND the door trim buzzing......
It may seem picky, but I don't think we should have to pay this much for a car and put up with these sorts of things. If I had bought a much cheaper car maybe it would be acceptable, but not a quality car like a Euro!!!
