Quick question regarding why i might be having this issue. This is wat I'm running
ek with b18c7 xforce catback high flow cat , kn drop in filter 16" rims, avg low 9l/100km
eg5 with jdm b18c fujitsubo rm01a not sure on cat or headers might be jdm 4-1, j's racing whale penis intake, 15" rims, avg can't get under 10l/100km

both run stock ecu, both driven the same in fact the ek is prob driven harder in shorter spurts while the eg is driven over longer distances,
I'm thinking of putting in hondata for the eg to clean it up, advice please

Could just be a case of one is older than the other, one might be worse for wear, bad filter, bad fuel pump, bad part somewhere along the lines, unknown origins of JDM B18C etc.

There are too many variables, if both were 100% stock and brand new, the difference in fuel economy would be negligable, but since there are too many variables noone can give you a definite answer.

Long distances generally be better fuel economy. For example my eg b18c7 gets low 6l/100km on the motorway.

Check your fuel filter , air filter , o2 sensor etc. A combo ixf
of each can pull down fuel economy

I'll do a big service on it soon hopefully it clears it up and replace all them parts or clean them

just an update, my rpm were hovering around 1400 for a few days, then it dropped to 1100 and i didnt touch anything. weather may have been an influence, but it didnt seem to waver much from the 20 degrees the past few weeks.
the rpm would stay at that range whether hot or cold.
i initially was getting around 10l/100km, but just today i managed to squeeze out an 8.86l/100 km from my fillup, thats my record so far.
im actually surprised with the fuel economy of the b18c.
i still need to get the car serviced as well
