hey guys, just wondering if i would be able to fit 15x8.5 -12 allround on a ek sedan.

what sussy mods would i have to be looking at?

stretched tyres, camber, extremely flared guards or bolt on fender flares or wide body.

is it cause of the -12 offset. whats the differences in the offset say from +12 to -12.

the negative offset will make it sit heaps out of the guard with that width of rim.

on my pos car. not an ek but you get the idea.

heres some 15x8 +0 w/ 195/50 toyo t1r. lowered on king spring ultra lows with shitty gabriel shockers and rolled guards, natrual camber from lowering is roughly -2.5F and -1.5R (if i remember correctly).

from -12 to +12, it'll stick 24mm further in towards the car

offset is the distance of the mounting surface to the centre of the rim.
If you have 8.5 inch wide, 0 offset has the mounting face in the dead centre.
-12 offset means the mounting face is pushed 12mm closer to the car meaning that the majority of the wheel will be favouring the outside of the hub.

Short answer is they wont fit.

They will not fit if you want them any where near the guards. 0 offset with a 8" wide rim will stick roughly 2" out of the guard, a -12 and 8.5" rim is gonna be near impossible unless you go a full wide body and cut out all the existing guards with ridiculous camber.
