Hi Everybody

I am from Poland. The D13B2 (single carb, 75 Horsepower) is very popular engine in our contry. This engine has locked the second throttle in the carb, so it's never fully open (but we can unlock it :)). Could anybody check that D13B engine also has locked the second throttle? The throttle lock looks like that >> http://www.civic5g.yoyo.pl/foty/kilka_modyfikacji/mod_3.jpg

ps
Sorry for my english

Hi

welcome to OzHonda, the 2 in the D13B2 would just mean its an export engine for AU, the engine would be much the same.

Im am unsure about the second barel locked out on our engine however I would imagine it would be the same.

Thanks for your answer, but one thing I still dont know is why the d13b has more horsepower than d13b2 (85hp vs 75hp )

D13B is JDM engine, and D13B2 is exported engine which used in Europe and Australia.

Normally JDM engines has a higher rating hp than the one exported out, this is because most countries have lower fuel octane rating, and also some other reasons from the specific country itself.
