Hey guyz, i got a question regarding to my suspension. I just changed the springs for my car, but there are some noise coming from the front suspension when I make sharp turns(squeaky sounds) either left or right. There isn't when driving normaly, turning normaly or on bumpy roads. I called up my machanic, but he said that it is the sound from the rubber thingy, the friction of the rubber and springs when turing too quick. Because there is a groove on the rubber when took the old spring out and the new springs cant fit the old groove. He asked me to wait about 1-2 months, wait for the springs get used to the rubber (to make a new groove). Just wondering is this right? Or the machanic didn't install the spring properly?

I have searched on this forum and ended up with
1. Top mounts not tight enough,
2. Springs not sitting correctly.
If springs not sitting correctly is the case, how can I check it myself?

top mounts are easy to tighten
5mm allen key + 14mm ring spanner

to check the springs, jack up the car(if you can't see through the tyre gap between the tyre and wheel arch) and see whether it's seated inside the tophat or not

top mounts are tight, Springs are sitting correctly.
What else should i check?? should I bring my car to suspension expert workshop like pedders to have a look?

take it back to your mechanic that installed it and ask them to show you why it makes the sound
