Awhile back I came across the orange s2k which was built by Ric Shaw Performance anyone has any info on it?

good old rick, he used to run Mr2's back in the early 90's.

used to take my series 3 RX7 12A Turbo to him.

he's still located at 35 parramatta rd five dock.

That's the one! No second gear. S2K easily walks away from the turbo'd RX-8.

i dont think the rx8 was turboed, few years ago i sold my 2.2 stroker kit to elias he was building the bottom end again

I dont think the rx8 was turbo lol.. Pretty sure it just had a few engine mods.

Never seen or heard of the orange s2k build by ric shaw sorry man :(.

My bad, i thought the did have a turbo, been a while since i'd seen the footage.

it was very minor engine work (exhaust intake tune) and mostly suspension ugrades done to that rx8. but the turbo s2k with no 2nd demolished it =] even rick said it was a much more fun car to drive

sounds great thats for sure. and without second still being able to beat that mazda is a great result.

Just love the sound.!
