hey guys

Know where i can find aftermarket lower front control arm + bushing? or just the front lower bushing for an 2000, ap1.

i hit a curb while going sideways, now the from right wheel is really loose when i jack up the car.

honda quoted me 550bucks for OEM -.-

Somthing tells me a bush won't fix your cause. As the factory arms don't need much of a hit to be bent, let alone a clip on the gutter. Don't be a tight arse and buy the OEM parts and fix it properly.

When you said honda quoted you 550, was that for the lower control arm or for new suspension bushes and lower ball joint? By bush, did you mean the ball joint? If it is the ball joint, it shouldn't be expense to fix.

its the ball joint that needs replacing,
honda only sells the complete arm + ball joint for 550 from melb.

im looking for after market ball joints, any ideas?

I'll see if i can dig a part no. up for a ball joint only. Honda do seperate most parts, but will try not to.

otherwise if you want aftermarket just get j's racing or spoon adjustable control arms.

ok my mechanic had a look, he said the ball joint was loose of something, he was able to put a new dust cap and gressed it.

when im doing maybe 50km +, and do a turn, the car pulls the opposite way sometimes. then goes back to normal. what else can it be? the mecahnic cant see anything else wrong :S

check the steering rack. its possible you could have done damage to the inner knuckle. otherwise check your strut/coilover isnt bent and you havent buckled a rim

I need to find somewhere that sells the rubber bushings seperate as well as mine have started to crack. it doesnt effect the way the car drives what so ever but eventually if they go completely it will and Im having the same problem. honda only sell the entire arm which seems like a waste of money when all I want are 2 little rubbers =/
