Last time i contacted Tanabe US and they said they don't make exhaust for RB1, so which website that you see? My euro last time using Tanabe SMH and i really like the sound. Andy, with twin tips you need to cut your rear bumper & lip like mario's car.

Damien, instead of closing this thread probably you can tell us some levels of exhaust noise from different brands for the reference for the other RB1 owners.

actually its a lip kit only but the opening should be alright but will see how it goes first. tbh, i'm thinking Remus mufflers with custom made pipe, just too much damage (wallet).......

That's Mugen sport exhaust right? Last time i found one brand new & same price as well but it has problem in shipping as one part of the exhaust exceed 2m in length. So need to go with container unless you want to cut it & re-weld it again here.

I ordered my cusco camber kit, recaro baby seat & luxest rear garnish from RMS. I think it's better if you order from trader in sydney otherwise you need to pay extra shipping from melbourne to sydney. Maybe try JDM Yard or JDM Concept?

wondering any JDM aftermarket bolt on mufflers only? just realise Remus universal muffler cost around AUD 800-900 each, for us it need 2 then including customise pipe equal some numbers that i don't want to think/know..........

For me HKS legamax premium sounds the best with Apexi N1 & Tanabe medalion next. Noblesse looks the best. I like quad exhaust :) Too bad they don't have HKS silent power.

I'm with Dan... HKS Legamax for sound and looks followed by Tanabe EXE.

I'll try to update the first post with the levels from the video and see if I can find any product links. Some of the db levels are different from manufacture's claims, but I guess db levels are pretty subjective to conditions present when measuring.

Oh just to let you guys know... I got this yesterday to replace my wife's Jazz ( will be selling the Jazz soon). Got it from another member on this forum.

my apexi ws2 catback is pretty quiet until it reaches about 3.5-4k rpm. plus its mounted pretty low at one point so it scrapes like a mofo over mountain bumps.

anyways any idea how loud the apexi ws2 is mate?

ermmmmm..... Ody front lip is 12cm off the ground, Civic is 15cm. Ody's front under arm bar scrapes my childcare's hump when I take the wrong angle, Civic goes over no problem. Maybe I should raise the Ody????

I know that HKS Silent Power sound is really nice and HKS HiPower is louder than HKS Premium Legamax. If you want, wait until you hear damien's or my HKS Premium Legamax. Like Andy said, definition loud is different between each person.

IMO now Noblesse exhaust is not worth that amount of money when i saw 2 of them list on YAJ, semi-stainless only and large mid-muffler which cause problems... thats why a big dent on the mid section listed by Mobil1

I tried the fujitsubo wagolis, although db level is quite low as stated, but still gets that droning sound at crusing speed in cabin.
Throttle did feel lighter as the engine seems to freed up at initial pickup and also mid range, not much difference at high rev.

Didnt quite do it for me though.
