Wiring amp stock head unit--> steering controls

Hey guys installing a line out convertor(LOC) in my accord euro CL9 soon, just wondering if I cut the speaker wires and connect them to the LOC from the head unit will I lose the controls or the control are not affected by the speaker wires?

The LOC has no effect on your steering wheel control.

i cut mine at the Deck ... because theres another set that runs from your amp.. then your amping your speakers with already amped speakers =P if you get me =D
