Looking to buy this dc5 but price and engine swap apparently to the k20z1 sounds sus. Anyone know anything bout this car? and how sus is a engine swap receipt for 6k?

Wouldnt see a reason why anyone would change from a K20A2 to a K20Z1.
Unless they were having problems with the initial engine?
The difference in power is virtually non-existent.
The only relevant difference is K20Z1 has different cams to K20A2 (K20Z is similar to JDM K20).

the previous engine may have had problems to be replaced...if ur ALREADY willing to spending that kind of money...dont hold out/cheap out...get a proper one or u mite regret it later.

AFAIK the K20Z1 was only for the 2005+ (face-lifted) AUDM Integra Type-S and USDM Acura RSX Type-S.

Japan's face-lifted DC5R models still came with the K20A. If they say JDM Type-S then thats equivalent to a Base/Luxury model engine here (K20A3).

Either way if you don't feel somethings right then don't buy it. Theres quite a few on carsales to choose from.

Ye thats why its sus cos he goes its a audm type s k20z1. Bought brand new from japan and i didnt even know you could buy brand new. jap type-s is a dud lol i dont think its vtec. Its just that if by any chance it is legit than its a 30k engine with few more kws for cheaper.

You can buy Type R and Type S motors brand new still just looking at a expensive price lol.... Thats all and a delay on getting them here.

go and do an inspection on the car, or get someone who knows what they are doing to take a look at it.. ie.an inspection company... would you buy a house on the word of someone in another state???

I called this dude a while ago and he gave me the engine number and vin number (can't check on revs as he gave me the type s engine number).
It's been on carsales for a long time now.
