car alarm, help!

hey guys,
i was driving at night through the rain and drove over a puddle of water which i didnt see, my alarm started to make noises... for like a min or 2 and then died out. tried my alarm out but it stop making the chirping noise when i press it. anyone know how i can fix it ? any help will be appreciated =)

Check wiring to siren, and buy a new one if faulty

is it battery backup siren? if so water may have gotten into your siren which made it play up. happens all the time to battery back up ones.
if thats the case, get it replaced!

if its not a battery backup siren then check what wayzor said.
