Hi guys,

I'm hoping you can help me with my minor situation here.

Took delivery of a CU2 Standard Manual last Friday after careful inspection of paint work, interior, electronics, wheels and tyres, engine bay, etc. However, I don't think i've inspected it enough because at home I found that the rear right passenger seatbelt doesn't retract fully.

It is fairly minor compared to the larger issues here. Did a search on this topic but I couldn't seem to find it in any threads before. Any help /idea on this would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a photo of the rear right passenger seatbelt with about 3 inches of "loose" belt. I also included a photo of the rear left passenger which is fully retracted.

Thanks in advance.

Most probably assembly defect from the manufacturer.
Should have been picked up at pre delivery and rectified.
But go back to your honda dealer. That is a warrantable issue. Its probably internally twisted or the mechanism is faulty.

Looks like something is jamming the retractor. Get the dealer to fix it under warranty. Should be an easy fix.
