nice purchase and a mint car!
Damn you got that on your L's? Lucky. And mow that lawn!
Ah back in the day... I had my L's for 6 months then got my P's. No hours or logs or anything like that.
I had done plenty of bush-bashing at mates properties before getting a license, so I had the gears and clutch down-pat before ever hitting the road. My dad had a Mitsubishi Cordia GSR (turbo) he was fixing up for my brother at the time when I got my L's, so I learnt on the road in that. He bought it real cheap from the wreckers because the turbo itself was missing off the engine and it was running rough. He found one at another wreckers and stripped the whole thing down and rebuilt it up tough, mate that was a lot of fun! So I've always had a soft spot for the Cordia, done up right they look nice and they're fun to drive.

DW man. Im only on my Ls i cant thrash it just YET hehe.
You can still thrash them and look after them... I like to drive mine pretty hard at times, but always look after it and make sure I keep an eye on everything and service it on time.
And obviously things like keeping it clean, a quick wash and vacuum regularly takes most of the pain out of it.

trouble from N to 1? what do you mean?
if you're rolling in neutral and want to go into first use the double clutch method.
if your gearbox is having trouble going from N to 1 when you are stopped try slotting it into another gear and then try 1st again.

Guys im going to balance out my wheels on friday because the front is so NOISY! you can hear the tires sound every time it rolls. Can someone tell me if they going to put my camber back to 0? Cause right now the rear is on -3 and the tires sound is coming from the front. Is it possible to tell them not to touch the camber?
INVSBL
17-02-2010, 08:18 PM
u can get a wheel alignment done and tell them what camber you want aswell.
if ur paying for it, they will do what u tell them to do.
they will go on bout wear and shit, but its your choice in the end

Nah its not the alignment its the balance cause the car isn't dragging to one side or anything just make so much noise. But yeah ill ask him if he can leave the camber alone.

Guess I got in just in time and completed 120 inc. 20 hrs night driving

what sort of tyres are you running? same on the front and back?
in regards to your camber question unless you have adjustbale camber arms then the camber angle cannot be adjusted without raising the height of the car.

they are Proxes on the front right?
some tyres just make a lot of road noise.
who did your balance? if he's a wheel/suspension specialist he should know what sound a knackered bearing makes.

Guys i got my exhaust fitted on a couple of days ago. When he was cutting it and weldng it when the car was up high it looked fine but when it was all done and finished he took the car down.
I notice the exhaust was straight it was on a angle going to the left side abit.
I didnt want to say anything @ that time cause it would be to much to get the car back up cut and weld again but now i regret being a little b!tch and not speaking up.
Should i bother taking it back or to a local exhaust shop and getting it straight or should i leave it? Anyone know rough ideas on the price.
