Gday Guys,
Just thought i'd share that i just came back from the autosalon and t'was good. Not much suprises. But yeah got my car put on the dyno there. It was a mainline dyno.
My car is full standard just had a service recently and ony my first of two runs i got 95.4kw at the wheels. Then my second run i got 97.2kw at the wheels. I wasn't expecting much because after all my car is standard. First time i've ever been on a dyno so didn't really know what to expect :p
But i think i should be happy with my result being my first time and all.
Power: 97.2kw@153kph
Torque: 203FtLb@203kph
Motive Force: 2536.2N@132kph
Thanks for reading guys!
Peace out!

ok i would compare out put but different dynos give different numbers so there no point, but nice output , my ls put out 81kw before i turboed , now got 145-150 depending on weather(lol sounds funny but true), soon to be 200kw if not over.....nice work your teg is right were it should be factory specs say between 92-98kw standard

sorry bud was in 4th
so u made peak power at
Power: 97.2kw@153kph

Not a bad effort
I hear alot of people saying their stock, or I/E b16as running 90s at the wheels .. i find it a tad hard to beleive that if your stock ITR is running 95

Weq: i just copied all the info that was on my dyno sheet.
HRV-80Y: yeah i was with TGZ.
mugen boy: yeah that's true dude. Different dyno's give different readings.
civic type R: it was a mainline dyno.
jenz_tegrie_2004: sorry it wasnt my car if it was a gunmetal grey. mine was the nighthawk black R at the TGZ stand.
OH BTW Happy Birthday
Thanks for all the comments guys and girl :)

Yeah the dyno was giving different readings, a couple mates of mine had their nissans dynoed but only got 150-160kw at the wheels when they had it tuned for 180kw. But the AGAIN different dynos = different readings.
sorry dude but the accord euro with the buddy clubs your talking about right?
well that car is from TeamGodSpeed.
Cheers

hey dude... i think i seen ur teg on the tgz stand... nice car!! :D
i entered the show (i was on the syndicate motorsports stand) ... i went on the dyno and he did 3 runs.. 1st run i got 74kws 2nd run 77kws...
and the 3rd run i got 79kw's at the front wheels...
no idea wat the go is with that... i've got exhaust and cold air intake ... so it should pull harder then 79kws... i was dissapointed.. since mine is a dc2 vtir teg...
the only reason i could come up with was that it was overfilled with oil... would this be the reason??

CL455: Thanks for the compliment. Yeah i went for a walk around and noticed your car too. You were with fellow ACT car owners. Nice to see syndicate made the trip down.
damn your car was slammed  it looked real nice. makes me wanna go lower but i said 'na too much of a hassle' :) your cars tight!
Good reading on the dyno champ! Different factors come into play when your on the dyno. tyre pressure, rim size, etc...

nuh the one at autosalon that won dyno n/a was a dc2r with 127kws' at the front's with a jdm front conversion .... black bonnet number plates "BADHBT" it was crazy!! love the honda sound!! LOL :P
thanks laggot.... i wanna go lower..... trust me the trip up to sydney with the boys was no fun for me at all.... scrapping my rubber all the way over every bump!! i'm not fussed or worried.. only thing that really worried me that w/end was my low reading on the dyno.. 79kw's at the front wheels is a bit worrying to me... considering my mate last yr pulled 102kws at autosalon with his dc2 teg with 20s and a s15 front (plates "uh huh")
should i be worried?? or am i just being stupid?!?!? :(

Will: don't be worried mate! all different dyno's give different readings. Even a couple of my mates with nissans were dissapointed when they got between 160-170kw at the wheels. When their cars are tuned for more than 180kw at the wheels.
So you shouldnt freek out cos different dyno's = different readings.
