most likely on the cat.

Happened to me as well, just rip off as much as you can and it would eventually burn the plastic still on it.

Just have to live with the burnt smell for a few weeks

yea try scrape it off, or you could always get some sandpaper and sand it all off...

if its a stock system just spray some high heat primer on afterward either way
it wont rust to destruction till like 5 years+ lol

shouldnt take too long to burn off, cats can reach temps of around 800 deg im pretty sure, and fast.

same thing happened 2 me. smell reeks, but i was too lazy to get under and scrape it off, drove it around for a few weeks with the smell, it slowly disappeared. my car was low aswell, sometimes i'd scrape over ridiculous speed humps, then that got some of it off 2 lol

n shit out money lol.

I'll try giving it a scrape..

so better to do while its HOT or COLD ?? coz it fkn stinks lol.

and no not stock, appears to be aftermarket. its all new n shit.. think old owner had exhaust system installed.. i got no leaks either. had it checked n shit lol a 20 yr old car with no exhaust leak is hard to believe. so im gona assume its new..

scrape when hot, then once cold peel as much off as possible, and then let the rest melt and drop off.
it shouldn't take too long.

or grab a chisel and a hammer and tap tap tap on to it when cold it should come off. or a wooden chisel
