central locking not working after door trimmed removed.

Hey guys , i was removing my driver side door trim after putting it back on, the central locking stop working its a Civic EK1.


any ideas guys ? :S

1. take out the door trim and check if it still doesn't work
2. make sure clearance of central locking mechanism and door trim is ok.
3. check the wiring is connected back properly, u may have disconnected something.
4. check ur alarm pager has battery.
maybe start with that dude...

i had the same problem when i took the panel off on my eg.

you'll see a rod that connects to the button that unlocks the door, you need to make sure it is straight and aligned properly and not wonky or anything. this was the problem with my door, i just fiddled with it and removed the door trim a few more times, and that worked for me.
