DC5R help

hey guise can you tell me what to look for if its a real dc5r

Well the obvious difference would be from a base model dc5 are
- Integra type R badges
- Type R lip kit + type R wing
- Recaros
- MOMO steering wheel (with red honda badge)
- colour coded carpet ( *only applicable if car is black or blue, black should have red interior whilst blue has blue interior)
- MOST important of all check the engine
This can be done by checking the engine block which should print "K20A2" or easier yet just ask if the seller has a sheet with the engine number where it should say
"K20A2****etc"
THose are pretty much the obvious ways to tell the difference

BUT IMO the best way to check is to make sure the VIN and Engine numbers match up with Honda AU.

There was a person on carsales who converted a Base Model and tried to pass it off as a JDM DC5R.

Hmmm...... Base model have a different looking engine.
