hay guess recently had problems with
my d15z2 in my eg
its has been pinging
i did a timing check was spot on also run Subaru upper engine clean ( mechanic recommended it to clean carbon from top of pistons)

its also throwing the same spark plug lead off the dizzy every now and then cant figure out what it is any ideas??

How're the actual spark plugs looking? My EF8 was pinging so I just whacked in new plugs and no problems since :)

they looked pretty good as there fairly new a little bit fuely but nothing 2 reali be woried about will change them anyway and oil aswell.

Is the oil leaking into the spark plug housing?

nah used to get that so i replaced the seals and good as new had a plug change since then aswell

guess u where right doug look what i found uppon changing spark plugs ther only newish aswell

Yeah that'll do it, same as me.

I'm sure you already know this but take the rocker cover off, pull off the rocker cover seal that runs around the edges, clean up if need be, and when you put it on again just make sure you put gasket sealant on all the corners where the seal bends/curves as well as around the spark plug housing where the rocker cover sits.

Cure it for 20 mins and it should be fine.

Maybe new plugs if your current one's are a little too marinated yo ;)

yeah no 1 around here has the seals around the plugs so have to w8 for honda 2 open to morro this is the secinds time they leaked but i didnt use gaskit glue or anything last time and yeah new plugs for sure i put new ones on for tim being to as it was run reali bad n needed to drive it luck plugs are cheap of it lol

Gasket glue should be fine around the spark plugs is what I mean

yeah ill replace the spark plug cylinder seals and use gaskit glue with them aswell im sick if them leaking lol if its still pinging after that ill have a skit lol

shit aye repco auto pro n auto barhn and every1 cant find parts for these no vtec engines how gay have to go spend 13$ OEM from honda each on these stupid little rubbers
