breeze gearbox in a d16y1?

hey guys just wondering if its worth doing a breeze G-box in my d16y1 eg with I,H,E and cam....i heard that the shorter gearing would help the bottom end response in the drive.

not sure but iv been hearing that because its built for a lower hp motor it would have shorter gearing thus final drive being poor, but the 1,2,3 is great compared to the d16y1 box

Wouldnt you be able to change the final drive on your d16y1 box? My guess is that ur box is failing? (like all other d series)

Yea i had a breeze box on my d16y1 aswell but back then i was noob and didnt take it into consideration. Mechanic recommended as it was cheaper than a y1 box.

Why not? shorter ratios are always better. go for it

sounds rigth the 1.3 has shorter gears so it myt be down gradeing but i gusse it a up grade
