Hi guys,

im looking at upgrading the stereo in my Eg hatch. Im going Alpine Type R splits up front, rear 6x9's (haven't decided which) and an amp to run them with a pioneer 8950BT HU

Now where are the best places to mount the tweeter - im using the stock position for the driver

and any pics would be great

Dan, on the a pillars man OR you cant beat OEM tweeters ;)

why not under the air vents on the dash, the upper most vent on the pic above. that way no cutting/drilling through the dash/door

did that on an install for a mate, he wanted to make it look OEMish. you just need to cut the tabs that hold the vent in place.

can anyone show me where they mounted tehre crossovers? and the woofer

i'm prolly gonna go with the tweeters in the air vents

if you place the cross over in the door, then it would be a good idea to cover it with some plastic to prevent water getting in it. but not too much, or you might over heat the cross over.
or have them in the interior near the fuse box and near the glove box.
