hey guys is it still possible to still use the original ej8 compressor on a b20?? cause i got the original hoses on it correct me if im wrong

if the ac bracket on the b20 block is the same as the ej8 one then you can reuse your ej8 compressor and lines

easy way to find out is to fit it back on

EJ8 is a D-series, from experience the B and the D series compressor mounting bracket is different. do check beforehand

I've got an EK1, with mounting bracket and compressor from a B series (which just shat itself)

I went to replace with the original compressor for the car, which is obviously a D series (doh) and it doesn't fit on the bracket...

Can I simply change the bracket to a D series and all good to go??? Will it still fit and clear everything in the engine bay?

Does anyone have the part I'm after?

you can reuse the A/C compressor from the D-series. just the mounting bracket needs to be changed to a B-series' one.
