Planning to change gear box fluid

hi guys,,

i am planning to do drain and replace the manual gearbox fluid,

after a few research, that synthetic gear box fluid is much better than the standard MTF around.

i just wanted to know which one to get coz theres a few lying around in the shops

only use honda mtf. others dont work very well

and which one? is it only one kind?

around how much? and how big is the bottle? well from hondatech it says i need to bottles,

yeah u get them from honda dealers. they come in 1L bottles so you will need 2

the honda one is normally $16 a bottle man..pretty cheap and your getting the right stuff for the box, defs worth it

how many bottles do i need ppl said 2?

do i used all of them? or just 1 and 1/2?

you need about 2.25-2.5 litres. Get 3 x 1 litre bottles of HONDA MTF 06 to make sure.

for the d15 manual gear box? 3 bottles of a litre each?

in my d16 ek i bought 2 bottles becuase my service maual said 1.9l for the gearbox. sure enough i bought 2 bottles and i had a tiny but left over.
