Bonnet wont close???

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought an replica of SPOON air scoop...i fit it into my car today....and when i finished, i tried to close my bonnet, but it wont close....i try pushing really hard and still wont close..... I can only guess that replica spoon air scoop is in the way.....

I have 2 option now,

1 - buy a REAL spoon air scoop
2 - cut the underside of my bonnet.

What do you guys suggest/???

Try raising the bonnet latch it should close :)

vyets... can you give me more detail in how to raise the bonnet latch..??...i had a look...does that mean i got to remove the latch and move it up about 2 cm??>....

yea the bottom latch there's 3 bolts holding it too the car, loose them and pull the latch up it should close after that. it tends to slide down after awhile because of all the bonnet dropping we do :P

BTW....does anyone know if the spoon intake snorkel required cutting the underside of bonnet???

No you don't need to cut a hole for the spoon snorkel
