anywhere to call up n check how many points left on licence?

ok, so the RTA website n hotline are down for maintence.. sweeeet!

Anyways... i jsut lost 4 points ok (27 km/h over).. firstly.. is tehre any month suspension for this, the pig said something about if i did 30 or over, it owuld have been 3 months.... so im guessing i dont have any time offf, right?.. Also, i lost 6 points back in march last year... was suspended for 6 months, so i got my licence back in september 2009... When do i get those 4 points back do u know? also im a full licence... so to recap, only times i ahve lsot points previously was

sometime from 2008-2009 - 3 points (speeding camera) - this was done on green p's

march 2009 - 6 points (55km/h and over) - this was also done on green p's, i was spose to lsoe it for 9 months, as i only had 6 points left on my licecne, the infringement itself is worth 6 months, but cos i lsoe it on green's, another 3 points for zero points remaining; however i went n got my full's, and by the time it processed, they recgonised me under a full/unrestricticted driver, so they only took 6 months off!

today - 4 points (27km/h over) - unrestricted licence.

u guys reckon im gonna lsoe it for any months at all?

You get the points back in 3 years.



I would call the the RTA on Monday and check if ur licence has been suspended

3 years is it, yeah i jsut read the same thing on the rta.. so it looks like im gonan be susepnded then yeah? can someone else confirm?

by the sounds of it yes, but i would call up the RTA tomorrow just to be sure

but dont u get more points when u go to full licence?

like P2 is 7 points and full's are 12 points, wouldnt i get an additional 5 points yeah?

i sut went on the rta website... got to the page to enter the details like rego plate, receipt number, expiry date, and last four digits of engine number.. WTF it says i have 2 calll.

Yeh from your green P's they transfer across to your full's I found this out the hard way 2. It really does suck!

hmmm lets just hope those 3 points from that camera was 3 years ago ... im gonna pay the fine right at the last minute, like i did for my big 6 points ... cos what happened was ... i went ngot my full licence.. n when that fine processed, they recognised me as a unrestricted driver, so instead of losing 9 points/months, i was only done for 6 :D

update.. yes i will be losing my lcience, but since i am going to be on good behaviour.. I might consider keeping my car.
