Aircon compressor interchangeability

just need a quick reply if possible...

chasing up parts to put AC back into my car

just want to know if a SOHC D series Aircon compressor would fit on a DOHC aircon system.

The aircon compressor itself has been removed as well as the gas hose that runs to the firewall (is that interchangeable too)

i've heard that u could use the ac bracket from b20b from CRV and use the D series ac compressor, i heard some1 used it but i havent tried for my self.
