hmm when you install the throttle body did it come with the FITV underneath? or did you remove it from your stock one and put it on the OBX i think thats your problem

if its the plugs that plug into the throttle body they were all in when i had it installed i currently have the TB off cause i wanna know if i should drill a hole there and not, cause i pretty much have 1 try and if i wreck it then its rubbish lol..

Do you have this on your obx tb?

aftermarket tb's dnt usually have coolant lines, so what you have to do is bypass the hose...its easy look at where it starts running, then see whats missing on the aftermarket tb and run another water line from the iavc to a coolant line near the IM bolting area!

the red bits are edited to show where needs to be bypassed!

no need to drill anything youl just ruin your TB

either his idle is set too low via the idle screw
or his iacv is stuffed

afaik no b18c7 has a fitv

I find it pretty funny that OBX don't even have a cold air idle port before the throttle plate..

I had a look, it doesn't have one!

Above pic is inverted. MAP sensor is on the bottom.
Idle bleed bypass port is visible in bottom left of throttle intake.
Idle bleed bypass adjustment screw (allen head) is just aft of the TPS sensor.
(It is on the upper edge - fire wall side, when fitted to ITR/BLOX/SK2 manifold)
The B18C7 does not have a fast idle valve, so no provision for it is required.
When the throttle is replaced & the std ECU is retained,
The following must be done...
Closed throttle stop set to prevent throttle sticking,
TPS set to within operational perameters - see manual.
Idle relearn steps followed - see manual.
Cold start is through the IACV only, there is no additional air via FITV (normally found under early OBD1 B-series throttles & OBD0.)

Of further note...
The use of a 68mm throttle without a programable ECU is pretty much a waste of time.
Usual result is a loss of power - approx 5hp accross the whole rev range.

jetdc2R - Did you by chance fit a catch can at the same time & or remove manifold hose that connects to the PCV valve.
(Centre of intake manifold)
Though not often mentioned, the air injested here is needed by the factory ECU for clean cold starts also.
This may be your issue.
Cheers

You know what.. I'm starting to think that the blox unit I have from jetdc2r is borked. I can clearly see the port in the above pic, this one has absolutely nothing.
