97 auto prelude not reversinng??

the car doesn't reverse for some reason..

gearbox is probably on its way out. auto gearboxes on the 97 and 98 preludes are prone to failure. does ur car drive forwards tho?

yeah all transmissions are working except for reverse

pretty sure your going to need to take it to a tranny expert... nothing u can DIY to fix it..

most likely need to rebuild.. or better off get another box

check your linkages or cables first if its all beer and skittles itl have to b ya gearbox... look for a second hand one if ya low on casholla..
wreckers...maybe ya linkages though
