well, just bought some Type R brakes to fit and convert my rear drums. Soon after that is some headers and exhaust. last but not least some BC or Tien coil overs. after i recover from that, some semi slicks for a little track work. This should all be within next 6 months.
hoping then for a street drivable cam set, and power FC or similar for tuning.
should make for some fun times ahead.

Got some plans.
Install the stage 1 bisi cam.
Bore the TB from 56mm to 60mm and port match the IM.
Upgrade the exhaust from 2" to 2.25".Just need to buy a 2.25" hi flow cat because my x-force twin loop is 2.25",the collector on the x-force headers is 2.32".
All this will cost:
TB and IM porting 400 (inc. postage)
cat 60
piping and install 180-230
Unsure if I should run a resonator at this point :)
Would love to get head work done. Will cost $1000...and port work on IM,the runners and port matched to the head, another $400-$500.U cant run a skunk2 IM on the y4.

i dont think boring ur TB will help much on D series
alot of ppl get the same figures from stock than bored or aftermarket

I thought the skunk2 knob had a special coating to resist scratching.... I've had mine for like 4 months now hit it with my ring everyday and still hasn't scratched it.

sounds good josh,
can u do a engine swap when ur on ur p's?
B16 ------> b18 will need to be mod plated enginered etc so no. I won't be in any great rush though, if I don't do conversion I will keep the em1 prob a year or so longer and buy a dc5r. Always wanted and loved integra type r

i found out the hard way on my maiden voyage through the local carwash. :-S had to pull the drivers seat and carpets out and put them in the sun. nothing like pressurised water getter blown into your car to make your day

For the money you will pay for a b16b mate you mayaswell budget a tad more and go with the b18cr. I say this because I thought exactly the same as you at one stage:thumbsup:

Oh you want to do the swap before you get your opens, in that case you can't legally run a b18 :(
yes b16, goes very well for a 1.6 n/a engine :) fun to drive and still good on fuel.

Well the chances of gettn caught would prob be slim. Comes down to if you want to takethe risk. I would hate to be in a crash, kill someone or seriously injure them then have insurance/cops etc discover that you were not legally meant to be driving the car.
Maybe I'm to paranoid though lol :p
