Hey

Just after some advice before I make a final decision,
Would it be wise to DIY lowering springs on my dc5 cause iam just wondering if it would be anymore different from doing it on a ek or eg.
or am I just better off going to a shop & doing it?

Thanks:)

If you have done it on an EG or EK you should be able to do it on a DC5. The major difference is that when you remove the whole strut you will need to pop out the tie rod end, so a pitman arm puller or the OEM Honda ball joint puller would be handy, but there are other more ghetto ways of doing it. Other than that basic hand tools and a set of spring compressors should be sufficient.
