Bent Exhaust :(

Hi

i have a DC5R and i found out the exhaust has been bent in the middle because the muffler has been hit from the back. This has caused the middle of the muffler to come down because it is bent and everytime i get in and out of my steep driveway or any speed hump that bit that hangs low to the ground scrapes the concrete and makes that horrific noise of pipe hitting concrete :( i thinking of getting a new exhaust, but i figured can i just get the middle bent which is bent cut out and get a new bit welded on? if this can be done could you recommend me a good muffler shop in NSW?

shit im amazed it took that hit .. most mufflers would jst fk the tip. or fall off.

I'd say goto midas man, ask them what u shuold do.. coz im sure it would vary on the damage.. if its sumfn small slightly bent n shit .. i reckon they could fix it for dirt cheap. Otherwise might need a new one buddy. DC5r that LeTTER R means NOT CHEAP lol.

IMO it may be cheaper to get a 2nd hand b-pipe.
Either stock or aftermarket.

Unless theres damage to the axle-back as well.

Otherwise I would recommend Best Mufflers in Carlton.
