im after a subwoofer that is lite weight.

Ideally it should be 10" >smaller in size
If its a shallow sized thats a bonus.

So whats your opinions?!?!

I just got an invisibass for $120~ from jbhifi with their recent 30% off sale till Sunday. Have read good things about it, and since I want to keep my boot space, I didn't have a choice. Haven't tried it yet though.

Check out one of my solutions from VIBE: http://www.shoppingsecure.com.au/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=237

There is also a version with the amplifier built in. Its lightweight and the feedback I've got about this thing indicates that its a damn good performer in the sound quality department.

I've also got a couple of light 10" subs if your interested:

Sorry about the lack of information on my site at the moment but Its just undergoing some pretty big updates. If you have any specific questions I'm happy to answer. As for specific weights and what not, I would need to check with the suppliers if I'm out of stock at the time.

thanks for the responses guys.

Mizone i will have to check it out.

Joe Bellissimo thanks for the links having looking thru briefly.
I really want something that could potentially fit inside the spare wheel well
And the sub already enclosed in its own box. So its easy to remove if need be.

if you're up for it you could make a box the shape of the wheel well from fibre glass. Should be good enough for what you need.

I like the idea of what you're doing though.

Well the 8" VIBE sub would work but besides that, Jason's idea of fibreglass would also work very well, just attach handles and use something like the links I gave you and you should be sweet.

How does a 8inch sub sound compared to a 10inch

exactly. Put plugs in the side of the box so its easy to disconnect and with handles it will lift straight in/out.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
