Here's where it has a few light scratches:

Do I fix it or trade it in as is? :D Cheers!

trade it in as is, you wont get back what you spent on it fixing the scratches

Fix it and sell privately, you'll get better value than trading it in.

Looks like you could rub most of it out with a stiff polish.

Sell privately, don't trade it in no matter what. You'll be lucky to get 50% of it's actual value mate...

Do you think I could clear that up myself with touch up paint?

I use Sonax. It's a hard polish with a mild abrasive that usually managed to remove most of my deeper scratches, so long as they haven't gone all the way through the paint.

But because it's not a 'cut and polish' it won't remove your clear-coat, so that your paint job keeps its lovely shine.

Great value. I suggest you get a bottle from Repco or whatever :)

aff

Just sell it privately then, and take off a couple of hundred from the value for the scratches

theres a world of difference between cheap car products and GOOD car products ... i would use autoglym and a good polishing pad n give it a goooood buff
