Anyone using Option Audio product? I'm interested in the OAX502 500WRMS D class mono block amplifier. Just after a simple decent mono block amp

I would go with the OAX802 mate since its 1 ohm stable, much more flexibility and upgradability so your not going to need to change amps with your next upgrade.

Thats just my 2 cents. I'm an Option Audio dealer and I have no trouble with them so I see no problem with you getting one! :)

not much difference in em, they both make the same power at 4 & 2ohm so the better amp depends on if you NEED an amp thats stable down to 1ohm (802). otherwise just get the cheaper one cus theyll both match your sub either way.

yeah to be honest the are both the same shit at 4 and 2 ohms most subs run 4ohms, saying that if u ever do buy another sub later on that needs 1ohm ull need a new amp if u get the 500watt rms

Thanks guys, its only to power one sub (4ohms) so i dont think i'll need a 1ohm stable amp.
If i do get another sub in the future (4ohms), and connect it in a parallel connection that will mean i'm running a 2ohms load setup rite?
